STUART LIGHTBODY HAS SPENT OVER 30 YEARS STUDYING AND SHARING THE ART OF MAGIC
Stuart tours his theatre shows across 3 continents. He can be found entertaining anywhere from private parties on the island of Capri, Italy, to theatres on luxury cruise liners, to corporate shows for the biggest Fortune-500 companies.
As a three time winner of the South African Magic Championships, Stuart Lightbody is South Africa’s most award-winning magician. He has represented his country at the World Magic Championships in Sweden. He has also won numerous local and international awards at arts festivals, including two "Silver Ovation Awards" and a “Spirit of the Fringe Award” at the South African National Arts Festival, the "Creative Award" at the Prague Fringe Festival, and the “Theatre Award” and the “Magic and Illusion Award” at the Fringe World Festival.
Stuart is also a back to back winner of the “Best Magic Award” at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the second largest arts festival in the world.
He spends his life pondering, practicing and performing moments that are beautifully impossible.
